Work experience

Infrastructure for AI agents. Formal model and reference implementation, validated against 14 agent frameworks.
- Designed an axiomatic formal model with proved theorems and implemented it solo as a Python library that records every agent decision as an immutable, content-addressed record linked to the decisions it depended on.
- Built a decorator-based SDK that instruments existing agents in a few lines, classifying each action as pure, reversible, compensable or irreversible, and computing compensation obligations when an upstream belief is corrected.
- Developed adapters for 14 agent frameworks, including LangGraph, CrewAI, OpenAI Agents SDK, Microsoft Agent Framework, PydanticAI, smolagents and a Node.js bridge for Mastra, validated through adversarial integration testing.
- Maintained a 409-test suite and fixed issues found during integration, including a race condition in the PydanticAI adapter and a redaction ordering vulnerability in the storage backends.
- Shipped an open-core release with an Apache 2.0 SDK and a closed engine compiled with Cython, built through GitHub Actions and cibuildwheel into 12 wheels for macOS, Linux and Windows across Python 3.10 to 3.13.
- Built the Operations Center, a local web interface launched from the CLI with an execution graph, decision browser, node inspector and compensation view, and ran a security review covering dependencies, static analysis and secrets that fixed five XSS vulnerabilities.

// about.me
Hi! I'm Julian. I was born and raised in Colombia, where I developed a passion for art and for how things were built from a very young age.
Around 2007 the first computer arrived at my house, and it has been an extension of my life ever since. I started with Microsoft Paint and Adobe Flash, then moved on to pirated copies of Photoshop and Sony Vegas Pro 10 unlocked with keygens. Then came RollerCoaster Tycoon, where I spent countless hours building worlds and combining my love for computers with design. Later came GTA San Andreas, where I learned to crack the game to add mods I wrote in Notepad, and I uploaded tutorials to my YouTube channel showing other players how to add folders to the game's root directory.
I chose to study Business Administration at a junior college in the United States to gain both a technical and a business view of software, and then returned to design at the University of California, Davis. There, all of my skills have come together in an interdisciplinary way, through self-teaching and the guidance of my professors.
That path led to my most recent and biggest project, Sevenbox, an audit layer for AI agents that monitors the reasoning of LLMs through a developer-friendly interface. It works with leading frameworks such as the OpenAI Agents SDK and LlamaIndex, with the goal of diagnosing precisely which beliefs were false, what they were based on, and which actions can't be undone.
